Reverse description A standing wildman (Wilder Mann), the heraldic supporter of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, is depicted full-length in the center of the field, holding an uprooted tree with a leafy crown in his left hand and resting his right hand at his side. The figure stands on a ground line and is rendered with the characteristic rough, hirsute appearance of the wild man motif. The numeral 4 appears to the left of the figure in the field. The circular legend FAVORE ALTISSIMI arcs around the upper portion of the coin, translating as 'By the favour of the Most High.'
