Obverse description Central field displays the elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg, surmounted by an episcopal crown and flanked by ornate foliate and scrollwork supporters on either side. The shield is divided into four quarters incorporating the arms of the Bishopric of Würzburg and the personal arms of the Greiffenclau family, with diagonal bends and rosette charges visible in the quarters. Below the shield, the denomination numeral '4' appears within a cartouche, with the date '1706' divided across the lower field. The entire composition is rendered in a bold Baroque engraving style typical of early eighteenth-century German ecclesiastical coinage.

Reverse description Standing full-length figure of the Virgin Mary occupying the central field, depicted in flowing robes and holding the Christ Child in her left arm while raising a sceptre in her right hand. The figure is rendered in a dignified Baroque style with fine drapery detail, set against an unadorned field. A crescent moon or similar device appears at the base of the figure. The circumferential Latin legend, reading 'SVSCIPE ET PROTEGE' (Receive and Protect), is arranged around the periphery within a beaded inner border, invoking the Virgin's intercession as patroness of the Bishopric of Würzburg.
