| Obverse description | The Hungarian Royal coat of arms occupies the center of the field, depicting the traditional quartered shield with horizontal stripes and the apostolic double cross on a mount. Two winged angels in high relief serve as supporters, each flanking the shield and jointly holding aloft the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen above it. Crossed olive and laurel branches adorn the base of the composition. The encircling legend MAGYAR KIRÁLYI VÁLTÓ PÉNZ (Hungarian Royal Exchange Money) runs along the upper periphery in raised Latin letters, all within a beaded border. |
