| Reverse description | Central oval cartouche enclosing the large numeral '4' above the divided legend KREU·ZER in two lines, with the mint-master's initials EDC below, all within an ornate wreath of laurel and foliate scrollwork. The circular field legend LAND and MUNZ appears to the left and right respectively, separated by decorative foliate borders. The date 1749 is inscribed in the exergue beneath the cartouche, and the overall design is rendered in the restrained baroque style typical of Nassau coinage of this period. |
