背面描述 The reverse displays a bold three-line value inscription arranged in the center of the field, reading 'IIII' at the top, 'GUTE' in the middle, and 'PF' at the bottom, denoting the denomination of four Gute Pfennig. The mintmaster's initials 'AS' appear flanking the lower line, consistent with the mintmaster active in Einbeck during 1668–1669. A small rosette or decorative stop is visible to the left of the inscription. The lettering is large and fills the flan, characteristic of small German silver coins of this era. The flan is irregular with slightly ragged edges from hand hammering.

附加信息

Einbeck's civic coinage of the 1660s was produced under increasingly strained circumstances — the city had never fully recovered economically from its sacking and partial burning by Tilly's forces in 1641 during the Thirty Years' War. Municipal small silver issues of this type were struck to address chronic shortages of petty coinage in the region, a problem that afflicted dozens of Lower Saxon towns simultaneously and prompted a wave of local emergency issues across 1668–69.
