| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the interlaced royal cypher of Frederick V, rendered as a large crowned 'FR' monogram in elaborate script, surmounted by a count's crown. The numeral '5' is incorporated within the cypher denoting the fifth of the name. To the left of the monogram the denomination indicator '14 1/2' appears vertically, while the abbreviated legend 'Th.a.d.m.f.' (Thaler a dato monetae fabricatae) is inscribed in a curved line beneath the cypher. The milled border is visible along the coin's periphery. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays the denomination in three horizontal lines reading '4 / GROTE / O.L.M.' (Oldenburg Landes Münze), with the date '1761' on the lowest line. The numeral '4' is flanked by two small rosette or quatrefoil ornaments, lending a decorative quality to the layout. All inscriptions are rendered in bold, upright Roman capitals. A milled border frames the design. The overall style is plain and utilitarian, typical of North German billon coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |
