Reverse description Three heraldic shields arranged in a triangular composition, two positioned side by side in the upper half of the field and one centered in the lower half, representing the dynastic and territorial claims of the Anhalt princes. A small circular cartouche at the bottom of the central field contains the Roman numeral IIII denoting the denomination of four Groschen. The shields display the arms of Anhalt, Ascanien, and associated territories in the characteristic hammered style of the Kipper period. The circumferential legend in Latin, reading PRIN AN CO AS FR ET PA IIII, encircles the entire design within a beaded border.
