| Reverse description | The reverse field is entirely filled with a bold multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, arranged across three registers spanning the full width of the irregular flan. The inscription reads 'Mubarak Shah al-Sultan bin al-Sultan' (Mubarak Shah, Sultan, son of Sultan), recording the ruler's regnal name and affirming his dynastic legitimacy as son of a preceding sultan. No mint name or date appears within the die area, in accordance with the standard coinage practice of this Khalji-period denomination. The lettering is deeply struck and slightly crowded toward the margins, reflecting the hand-hammered production technique. The flan edges are irregular and uneven, typical of the 4 Gani billon issues of the Delhi Sultanate. |
