Reverse description Retains the original design of the Central American Republic host coin: five mountain peaks rising from the sea beneath a radiant sun with a facing solar disc at its center, all within a circular border. The surrounding legend reads REPUBLICA DEL CENTRO DE AMERICA, with the date 1837 appearing in the lower exergual area flanked by ornamental stops. The coin's edge bears a fine milled border consistent with its original minting.
