| Reverse description | Crowned Spanish coat of arms at center, displaying the quartered castles and lions with the Granada pomegranate at base, surrounded by the collar and badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The crowned shield is flanked on either side by the denomination mark. An outer circular legend surrounds the entire composition, with the mint name and assayer initials positioned within the legend. The overall design follows the standard crowned-arms type established for Spanish colonial gold coinage of this period. |
