Obverse description Draped and armored bust of King Fernando VII facing right, wearing a military uniform with epaulettes and a cravat, the portrait rendered in the neoclassical style characteristic of the Mexico City Mint. The circular legend arcs around the effigy, with the date 1810 positioned in the lower exergual area flanked by pellets. The coin displays a toothed border (grenetis) along the entire periphery.
