Obverse description Armored bust of King Fernando VI facing right, with flowing long curled wig rendered in high relief, truncation showing ornate breastplate and lace cravat. A royal crown is visible at the base of the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend reads FERND·VI·D·G·HISPAN·ET·IND·REX, separated by ornamental stops. The date 1753 appears in the lower field between two floral ornaments, with a fine milled border encircling the entire obverse.
