Reverse description The quartered royal arms of Spain surmounted by a large royal crown occupying the upper portion of the field. The shield displays the traditional Castile and León quarters — castles and lions — with an inescutcheon bearing the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty at centre. The mint mark M and assayer initials J B appear in the lower field, flanked by rosette ornaments. The circular legend NOMINA MAGNA SEQUOR runs along the periphery, separated by the mint and assayer marks.
