| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse displays the quartered Royal Arms of Castile and León within a baroque shield, showing alternating castles and lions in the four quadrants, surmounted by a crown. The shield is set within an ornate inner circle and surrounded by a partial Latin legend in the field. Mint mark and assayer initials appear flanking the shield, with the denomination partially visible at the periphery. The flan is characteristically irregular, as typical of cob-style (macuquina) gold coinage struck at the Bogotá mint during the mid-eighteenth century. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse features a bold Jerusalem cross at center, with the four quadrants filled by the lions and castles of the Royal Arms of Spain in alternating arrangement, enclosed within an ornate tressure of fleurs-de-lis and scrollwork. The cross is flanked by the two hemispheres (Pillars of Hercules style elements) represented by decorative scroll devices. A partial circular Latin legend surrounds the design at the periphery, partially off-flan due to the cob-style production method. The overall style is consistent with macuquina coinage of New Granada. |
