| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central cross of Jerusalem type, boldly struck in high relief, with fleurs-de-lis ornamenting the angles between the arms, all set within a double tressure of four arched segments forming a quadrilobe frame. The design is characteristic of the standard Spanish colonial macuquina gold type, with the cross occupying the majority of the field. The peripheral legend NOMINA MAGNA DEI, with the date, is partially legible around the border, interrupted by the irregular edge of the hammered flan. The overall strike is typical of cob coinage, with the central devices well-defined despite the uneven planchet. |
