Reverse description Central design featuring a large floriated cross composed of four interlocking Cs, each pair enclosing a small castle and lion motif in the angles, all set within a quadrilobe border of Gothic inspiration. The surrounding peripheral legend, separated from the central device by an inner milled border, reads HISPANIARVM REX with the date 1687 positioned at the top of the coin. The entire design is executed with the precision characteristic of the Segovia screw-press and roller-mill coinage, with a prominent milled edge visible at the coin's rim.
