| Beschrijving keerzijde | Crowned and quartered royal arms of Spain and the Indies, displaying the castles of Castile and the lions of León in the principal quarters, with the fleurs-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty in the center inescutcheon. The shield is surrounded by an ornate floral or tressure border and surmounted by a royal crown. The denomination numeral 4 appears to the lower left and the letter S to the lower right of the shield, with the mintmark Mo and assayer initials FM positioned in the lower field. The circular legend IN·UTROQ·FELIX·AUSPICE·DEO surrounds the design, translating as 'Happy in both [worlds] under the auspices of God.' |
