Описание аверса	Central field displays the Royal coat of arms of Castile and León, quartered, struck in the typical cob (macuquina) style with irregular flan and boldly impressed dies. Partial circumferential legend reading CAROLVS II DEI G is visible around the shield, with date and assayer mark partially legible at the periphery. The design reflects the crude but characteristic hand-struck technique of the Mexico City mint in the late Habsburg period.
