| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of King Aleksandar I and Queen Marija in left-facing profile, the king depicted in military uniform with epaulettes and decorations, the queen wearing an ornate crown and jewelled necklace. The effigies are rendered in high relief with fine medallic detail. A beaded inner border frames the design. The Cyrillic legend КРАЉ АЛЕКСАНДАР I. КРАЉИЦА МАРИЈА curves around the upper periphery, while the mint inscription КОВНИЦА А.Д. appears in the lower exergue. |
