| 背面描述 | A crowned double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, bearing on its breast an ornate quartered shield depicting the arms of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The eagle's talons clutch orbs below, and a royal crown surmounts both heads. The circular Latin legend KRALJEVINA JUGOSLAVIJA arcs around the upper field with the date to the right, while the denomination 4 DUKATA in Latin characters and 4 ДУКАТА in Cyrillic appear in the lower exergual area, all within a beaded border. |

Yugoslavia minted the 4 Dukata series as a deliberate revival of the Hapsburg trade ducat tradition, targeting the Balkan and Near Eastern markets where gold ducats had circulated as hard currency for centuries. The pieces were struck at the Belgrade mint and intended as much for hoarding and dowry use as for trade — a function openly acknowledged by the government rather than disguised as ordinary coinage.
Aleksandar I was assassinated in Marseille in October 1934, which gives the 1931–1933 production window a hard terminus the king himself could not have anticipated.
