Obverse description Draped bust of Archbishop Markus Sittikus von Hohenems facing right, wearing ecclesiastical vestments with a prominent collar, rendered in high relief with finely detailed beard and facial features. The effigy is set within a beaded inner border. A Latin circumscription runs along the outer legend between the beaded border and the milled rim, abbreviating the archbishop's titles.

Reverse description Two mitred bishop saints in full pontifical vestments stand as supporters on either side of a centrally placed oval heraldic shield bearing the quartered arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg surmounted by a processional cross with a baldachin above; each saint holds a crozier and a model of a church, referencing the founding patrons of the see. The date M DC XV appears integrated within the circumscription legend, which is separated from the field by a beaded border and enclosed within a milled outer rim.
