Reverse description Central motif of the Austrian imperial double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, each head surmounted by an archducal crown and the whole ensemble topped by a single large imperial crown. The eagle's breast bears an elaborate quartered shield of arms encompassing the heraldic devices of Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, and Burgundy. At the base of the eagle, between the talons, appears the denomination numeral 4 within a cartouche, flanked by the engravers' initials IC and FA. The circular Latin legend ARCHID AUST DUX BURG CO TYR, the mint year, and the mintmaster initials ICFA encircle the design along the milled border.
