| 正面描述 | The obverse depicts the Three Magi — Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar — as crowned, robed kings standing in full figure within the coin's field. The central king is enthroned and holds the city arms of Cologne (three crowns on a red field above ermined base), while the flanking kings stand to either side bearing sceptres and gifts, all rendered in the late Gothic hammered style characteristic of early sixteenth-century Rhenish coinage. A beaded inner border frames the figural composition, outside which runs the Latin circumferential legend identifying the Three Kings and the issuing city. |
