| Obverse description | Draped bust of Fernando I facing right, wearing a crown and with long flowing hair visible beneath, rendered in high relief in the late Gothic style typical of Iberian Renaissance coinage. The effigy is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding Latin legend reads FERNANDVS D G R NAVARRE ET AR, separated by pellet stops, running clockwise along the outer margin of the coin. |
