Beschrijving voorzijde	The arms of Guernsey occupy the central field: a vertically-lined shield bearing three passant lions arranged in pale, with a sprig of laurel or foliage issuing from above the shield as a crest. The design is enclosed by a continuous border of raised beads. The Latin legend GUERNESEY curves along the lower portion of the field beneath the shield.
