Obverse description Central field features a naturalistic spray of flowering plants rising from grassy ground, rendered in fine relief with multiple blossoms and budding stems characteristic of late Baroque engraving. The denomination indicator '·4·DOP·' appears in the lower exergual area beneath a double horizontal baseline. The circumferential legend reads PIVS·VI·PONT·MAX·A·XIII, identifying Pope Pius VI in his thirteenth pontifical year, separated by decorative pellets and disposed between an inner border and the reeded rim. The overall composition is bold and well-centered, with the botanical motif occupying the full height of the field.
