| Reverse description | Central composition featuring a spray of sugar cane with broad, striated leaves to the left and a cluster of bananas to the right, both rendered in bold relief against a plain field, symbolising Grenada's agricultural heritage. The large numeral '4' appears prominently in the lower centre of the field, with the denomination 'DOLLARS' inscribed below in incuse lettering. The FAO motto legend 'GROW MORE FOOD FOR MANKIND' arcs around the upper periphery within the raised rim. |

| Additional information |
Grenada's 1970 FAO issue was part of a coordinated multinational release organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization to promote agricultural development across member states. Dozens of countries struck commemorative pieces that year under the same program, most of them in limited quantities destined more for collectors than cashiers. Grenada's piece, denominated at four dollars — an awkward value with no predecessor in the island's coinage history — was never a practical circulation coin.
