The surface treatment contrasts polished and matte areas to accentuate the bone structure and anatomical detail of the prehistoric predator's cranium. This coin is the third issue in the Royal Canadian Mint's prehistoric animals series. The legend CANADA 4 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower periphery of the reverse field. |
