Reverse description The reverse displays a botanically detailed depiction of a red maple (Acer rubrum) branch bearing four lobed leaves in various stages of growth, rendered in high relief with naturalistic vein detail. The composition occupies the central field, designed by engraver C. Gauthier whose initials 'CG' appear to the lower right of the design. The legend 'CANADA' arcs along the upper rim, while 'FINE SILVER 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR' curves along the lower rim in bilingual English and French. The purity designation '9999' appears to the right of the central design, and the issue year '2024' is inscribed to the lower left.
