Reverse description A single large sugar maple leaf (Acer saccharum) dominates the central field, rendered in fine detail with prominent veining and lobed margins, its stem terminating at the base above the Royal Canadian Mint privy mark. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper periphery. The fineness designation 9999 appears twice flanking the leaf at mid-field, while the inscription FINE SILVER 1/2 OZ ARGENT PUR curves along the lower rim, presented bilingually in English and French.
