Reverse description The full Belgian royal coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting the crowned escutcheon bearing the rampant lion of Belgium, supported by a mantled and draped heraldic composition beneath a royal crown. The denomination VIER BELGA appears in the upper legend arc and 20 Fr. flanks the arms to left and right respectively. The date 1931 is placed in the exergue, with the engraver's initials G.D. (Godefroid Devreese) visible to the lower right of the shield. A beaded border surrounds the entire design.
