| 背面描述 | The central field displays the crowned coat of arms of Belgium, consisting of a shield bearing a lion rampant, flanked by two lions passant guardant as supporters, and surmounted by a royal crown. The denomination is expressed in both currencies — 'VIER BELGA' and '20 FR.' — arranged around the arms, with the date of issue and engraver's initials 'G.D.' for Godefroid Devreese also present in the field. |

Belgium's bilingual coinage policy of the late 1920s mandated that French-text and Dutch-text versions of each denomination be struck in equal numbers — a legislative compromise reflecting the country's deepening Flemish-Walloon cultural tensions. The Dutch-text variant of this type was struck across only two years before Albert I's death in February 1934 effectively closed the series.
The 1932 issue saw substantially lower production than 1931, making date a meaningful variable when assessing scarcity within this type.
