| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic script legend in bold calligraphic style, identifying the ruler as Zorawar Khan Bahadur along with his titles. The Hijri date is inscribed at the bottom of the coin in Arabic numerals. The legends are arranged in flowing Nastaliq script across the flan, characteristic of hammered coinage of the Indian princely states. The irregular flan and hand-struck nature of the coin result in slightly variable placement of the inscriptions. |

Radhanpur was a small Muslim-ruled state in northern Gujarat under the Babi dynasty, whose nawabs operated under close British paramountcy throughout the nineteenth century. The right to strike silver coinage was a jealously guarded privilege, and Radhanpur's issues from this period reflect a local mint working within tight constraints — the state covered barely 1,100 square miles and commanded revenues to match.
Zorawar Khan ruled from 1825 until his death in 1874, making this a late issue from a long reign. KM#9 is among the scarcer denominations of the series; Radhanpur's overall minting volume was modest even by princely state standards.
