| 背面描述 | The reverse features the Portuguese royal shield set within an armillary sphere, a heraldic device emblematic of the Portuguese monarchy and its overseas dominions. Due to heavy circulation wear and the crude striking quality typical of the Diu mint, the crown above the shield is difficult to distinguish and may appear absent on many surviving examples. The design is executed in a rough, primitive style consistent with local colonial mint production of the early nineteenth century. The field surrounding the central device is plain, without a legend or additional ornamental elements. |
