Beschrijving voorzijde	Struck on a roughly square klippe flan of irregular form, the obverse displays a plain cross above an abbreviated Latin devotional legend, all contained within a dotted inner circle. The Zeeland provincial arms appear to the left of the central device, while the civic arms of Middelburg are positioned to the right. The date 1572 is integrated into the legend in separated numeral format. The overall die workmanship is crude and utilitarian, consistent with the exigencies of siege coinage produced under blockade conditions.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse of this siege klippe is essentially plain and featureless, displaying only the rough, unworked silver surface of the klippe flan with no intentional design, legend, or device. The irregular square planchet shows the characteristic hammer marks and uneven surfaces typical of hastily produced emergency coinage struck during the 1572 siege of Middelburg. The absence of a reverse design is consistent with other documented examples of this siege issue.
