The arc legend 公元186-219年 appears along the upper periphery in Chinese characters and Arabic numerals, denoting the approximate dating of the original artefact to 186–219 AD. The denomination 350元 is inscribed in large Arabic numerals and Chinese character along the lower field. The entire design is set against a deeply mirrored proof-like field framed by a reeded border. |
