| Obverse description | The obverse presents a rear-view continuation of the Dragon scene rendered in Extraordinarily High Relief (EHR), lending the composition pronounced three-dimensional depth. At the upper portion of the field, the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt is prominently placed. A special commemorative marking incorporating four pearls — symbolising the four royal effigies to have appeared on Canadian coinage — is also present. The double date 1952–2022 accompanies the coin's issue year 2024, referencing the span of Her Majesty's reign. The outer legend reads ELIZABETH II D. G. REGINA in Latin script. |
