| Reverse description | The reverse, designed by artist Simon Ng, celebrates the 2024 Year of the Wood Dragon, honouring the fifth sign of the twelve-year cycle of the Chinese Zodiac. The Dragon is depicted in dynamic movement among clouds beneath a moonlit night sky, its tail coiled into the form of the auspicious figure eight. The composition is framed by a laser-engraved decorative border representing the Wood element, one of the five classical elements of Chinese cosmology. The design is executed in Extraordinarily High Relief (EHR), imparting a sculptural, three-dimensional quality to the central figure.
