| Reverse description | An elaborate and intricately engraved commemorative composition depicting the legacy of the Canadian Crown. A large central medallion bears a right-facing portrait of King Charles III, surrounded by seven smaller circular medallions each containing the effigy of a successive British monarch who reigned over Canada, including Victoria, Edward VII, George V, George VI, and Elizabeth II at various ages, arranged in a wreath-like arc. The medallions are linked by richly detailed scrolling acanthus foliage interspersed with Canadian maple leaves and floral motifs, all executed in frosted high relief against a polished field. The overall composition celebrates the dynastic continuity of the Crown in Canada. The engraver's initials AB appear in the lower field. |
