Reverse description Eagle standing left on a thunderbolt, with closed wings and head turned to face left, rendered in the characteristic Ptolemaic style. The eagle's plumage is rendered in careful detail, and the thunderbolt beneath its talons is clearly delineated. A royal Greek legend is disposed in two columns flanking the eagle, reading ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ to the left and ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border, and the overall design follows the standard reverse type established for large Ptolemaic bronze coinage struck at the Alexandria mint.
