| Description du revers | Plain field bearing the denomination and currency description in four horizontal lines of bold serif capital lettering: the large numeral 32 at the top flanked by two rosette stops, followed by SCHILLINGE, HAMBURGER, COURANT, and the date 1809 with a period stop, all centrally arranged within the flan. The design is entirely typographic with no figural elements, giving the reverse a stark, utilitarian character typical of early nineteenth-century German municipal coinage. The reeded edge of the coin is visible at the rim. |
