| Reverse description | The reverse is entirely typographic in design, bearing no figurative elements. The large numeral '32' dominates the upper field in an elegant serif typeface, flanked on either side by a small six-petalled rosette ornament. Below, in three lines of bold capital letters, the inscription reads 'SCHILLINGE / HAMBURGER / COURANT', followed by the date '1809.' with a terminal stop.
