Obverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in the Naskh script, reading 'Muhammad Shah Sultan bin Farid Shah bi Hazrat Dehli', arranged across four or five horizontal lines within a plain circular border. The lettering is boldly struck in relief, characteristic of hammered Delhi Sultanate billon coinage, with the sultan's name and title occupying the upper registers and the mint epithet 'Hazrat Dehli' placed in the lower field.
