| Obverse description | The national arms of Paraguay occupy the central field, featuring a five-pointed star within a wreath of palm and olive branches, surmounted by the Cap of Liberty and encircled by a beaded border. The date '1974' is divided across the lower field, flanked by the arms, with the denomination '3000 GUARANIES' inscribed below. The legend 'REPUBLICA DEL PARAGUAY' curves along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering. The design is struck in high relief with a polished proof-like finish characteristic of this commemorative issue. |

| Additional information |
Paraguay issued this coin as part of a broader commemorative gold program in the early 1970s, during the long Stroessner dictatorship, when the government used prestige coinage largely as a foreign currency earner rather than for domestic circulation. Einstein's inclusion in the series is somewhat arbitrary — he appears alongside other internationally recognized figures in what amounts to a commercially motivated collector series with no particular connection to Paraguay.
