Aanvullende informatie

The Four Horsemen derive from the sixth chapter of Revelation, a text whose political readings have shifted dramatically across centuries — Roman imperial persecution, medieval plague, colonial violence, nuclear anxiety. Cameroon's modern commemorative program, operated largely through the Brussels-based trading house CIT Lausanne, has issued dozens of high-relief silver pieces under nominal CFA franc denominations that bear no relationship to face value. These coins are fiscal instruments in name only, designed entirely for the European collector market.

The 85g format at this diameter is characteristic of CIT's "Antique Finish" production runs from the late 2010s, most struck at the B.H. Mayer facility in Munich.
