| Obverse description | The obverse of this oval-shaped gold miniature features the coat of arms of the Republic of Chad at center, depicting a heraldic shield flanked by two rampant lions, surmounted by a radiant sun and a goat, with a scroll below bearing the national motto. Above the arms, arching along the upper field, is the legend RÉPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD, while the fineness inscription 999/1000 FINE GOLD appears in the upper central field.
