The emblem is rendered in high relief against a polished proof field, with decorative ruyi cloud scrollwork framing the lower portion of the design. The legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) is inscribed in Chinese characters along the upper periphery, and the date 2024 appears in Arabic numerals along the lower periphery.

Reverse description The reverse presents a symmetrical composition of two highly detailed Chinese dragons rendered in bold relief, facing each other across the central field in a mirror image arrangement. Each dragon is depicted in the traditional sinuous form with scaled bodies, clawed feet, flowing manes, and elaborate cloud and flame surrounds, evoking the auspicious symbolism of the Jiachen (甲辰) Year of the Dragon in the Chinese sexagenary cycle. A flaming pearl appears at the center between the two dragons, a classical motif representing wisdom and good fortune. The cyclical year designation 甲辰 is inscribed in Chinese characters at the upper center of the field, while the denomination 300 appears in large Arabic numerals along the lower portion, surrounded by decorative cloud motifs.
