| 表面の説明 | At centre, a finely detailed frontal view of the Putuoshan Chaosheng Gate (普陀山朝圣门), the sacred pilgrimage entrance of Putuo Mountain, rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored field. The monumental triple-arched gateway is flanked by traditional curved-roof pavilions and guarded by a pair of stone lion sculptures at the base of the central arch. The Chinese legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs along the upper periphery in bold Chinese characters, while the inscription 普陀山朝圣门 appears in the lower right field. The date 2003 is incused along the lower rim. |
