Opmerkingen

The Siberian Provisional Government emerged from the political chaos following the Bolshevik seizure of power, and its currency issues reflect a period when multiple competing administrations were printing their own money across the former Russian Empire simultaneously. This 300-rouble denomination is unusually large for a regional provisional issue — most competing authorities of 1918 defaulted to smaller, more familiar denominations — suggesting it was designed to function in a high-inflation environment that was already well underway.

The "Second Siberian" designation in the series name distinguishes it from the earlier Siberian issues and hints at the administrative reorganizations that characterized the White movement before Kolchak consolidated power in November 1918.
