| Reverse description | Central device depicts a stylised rooster rendered in an East Asian folk-art idiom, its rounded body decorated with floral motifs in relief against a mirror-polished field. The inscription YEAR OF THE ROOSTER appears in the lower central field in Latin capitals, with the denomination 300 NGULTRUM along the bottom rim. An inner border carries a continuous series of years of the Rooster in the Gregorian calendar — 1909, 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005 — arranged in a circular legend separated by raised dots, with a fine dentillated rim enclosing the whole design. |
